Jeremiah 5:28-30

28 They are (A)fat, they are sleek;
They also [a]excel in deeds of evil;
They do not plead the cause,
The cause of the [b](B)orphan, that they may succeed;
And they do not [c]render justice for the poor.
29 (C)Shall I not punish [d]these people?’ declares Yahweh,
‘On a nation such as this
Shall I not avenge Myself?’

30 “A horrible and (D)appalling thing
